^Lot 3531 REAL ELEPHANT FOOT MADE INTO A STOOL.

This elephant foot has been made into a sitting stool or foot stool by local craftsmen in India. This example measures approximately 17" in height and approximately 13" in width at the seat. The seat measures approximately 4" in thickness and 42.5" in circumference, with the top covered in stripped brown & white animal hide. The seat is edged in black leather and the foot itself is painted/dyed black. CONDITION: stool has good appearance overall with handling wear. Animal hide shows repaired circular cut.
